"I was doing a handful of poses slightly wrong and just learning the intention of the poses and the cues really elevated my practice and made it more safe and enjoyable and interesting. It was very important as someone with chronic pain and injuries and surgeries and all of the stuff that the training has a really like body focused safety focused approach to it with the Yoga Optimized philosophy throughout. It’s really about how Yoga is a feeling not a shape - it’s not about what it looks like, it’s about what your body needs and listening to your body and setting your ego aside - so I feel really prepared to teach other people that have limitations like myself."
